Youngest Shark Tank Deal
Most six-year-olds are just learning to read and write, so it must have surprised the sharks on Shark Tank when Kiowa Kavovit and her dad, Andrew, appeared to film in the young entrepreneurs' special episode. The two pitched BooBoo Goo, a paint-on liquid bandage targeted to kids. The Kavovits asked for $100,000 for 17.5% equity, which Kevin O'Leary negotiated up to 25% pending the patent. Kiowa became the youngest entrepreneur to pitch and, even more amazingly, get a deal from the show. Unfortunately, it appears the product was never released to market, but Kiowa should be proud of doing something most would never do.
