In season 8 episode 11 of Shark Tank, Jake Sullivan and the 83-year-old Don Wildman pitched Hand Out Gloves, insulated gloves with zippers that allow quick hand access. Jake Sullivan founded Hand Out Gloves in 2013 and partnered with Don, an Ironman triathlon competitor who founded the company that became Bally's Total Fitness. Don was also eighty-three years old when he pitched to the sharks. Shark Barbara Corcoran agreed to a deal with the two in the episode.

In Shark Tank episodes, you see sharks agreeing to investments with entrepreneurs. However, what gets filmed is only considered a handshake agreement because the sharks need an opportunity to do due diligence before signing onto a deal. The deal was ultimately never finalized, but Hand Out Gloves still sells items today.
