To win American Ninja Warrior and the one million dollar prize, one must finish all parts of the final course faster than anyone else that season. Only two people accomplished that task; this does not mean all the other seasons resulted in no winner. The season's winner is the last person standing or whoever made it the farther in the final course. Brian Arnold, the oldest American Ninja Warrior winner, made it to stage 3 in season five in 2013 at 34.
