Youngest to earn Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt
One of the most challenging belts to earn in martial arts is the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt; it can typically take ten-plus years of consistent training to get it. Mica Galvão got it at 17, the youngest ever to do so. His father was a black belt, so naturally, Mica started grappling at a young age. Mica would earn his blue belt at 15 in 2018, purple at 16 in 2019, and brown at 17 in 2020. He has since medaled in some of the best competitions, proving he earned the belt justly.
