In March 2007, at the age of 43, Randy Couture was already a legend in MMA. He became the fourth member in the UFC hall of fame the previous year. He needed to prove nothing more, but he unretired and came back for a Heavyweight title shot against Tim Syliva at UFC 68.
Giving up seven inches and close to 40 pounds to Tim Sylvia, he won the UFC heavyweight belt for the third time. Couture became the oldest MMA champion ever. He eventually lost the title to Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 when he was 45.
