Stephen King's no-show book signing
Stephen King is one of the most prolific authors, selling over 350 million books. You likely have even seen adaptations of his books on tv or in the movies. By 1975, King's first published novel, Carrie, was a hit, and a movie was even going to be made from it. He released his second published novel, 'Salem's Lot, that October. But, unfortunately, even King experienced a no-show at his first book signing for Salem's Lot.
