Oldest Heisman Trophy winner

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted Chris Weinke, but he never got to the major leagues after six years. He played in the AAA leagues in 1996 but gave up baseball and returned to play quarterback at FSU in 1997 at 25. He had a late start but a fantastic college football career.

In his junior season at 27 years old, he led the school to its first undefeated national championship. The following year, he won the Heisman Trophy. He is the oldest player ever to win the Heisman Trophy at 28.
