First female chef with 3 Michelin stars in the US
Dominique Crenn has achieved many accolades since she opened her restaurant, Atelier Crenn, in January 2011. Michelin gave it one star within the first year and then two stars the next year; this made her the first female chef to achieve two stars in the United States. Michelin awarded Atelier Crenn three stars in 2018, making her the first female chef to gain three stars in the US.
