The Buffalo Bills were down 26-0 with 2:59 left in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts during week 4 of the 1997 season. The Bills would cut the lead to 26-10 by scoring twice before halftime and got within ten points by the end of the third quarter. The Colts would extend the lead to 13 points, 29-16, after a Cary Blanchard field goal in the fourth. The Bills would then score 21 consecutive points to lead 37-29. The Colts would score a last-minute touchdown but ultimately missed the two-point conversion to lose 35-37.
