The 2001 Seattle Mariners are among the best regular-season teams ever, winning the most games during the season at 116. In an August game against the Cleveland Indians, they jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the third inning. By the end of the sixth, the Mariners were leading 14-2. The Indians would score three runs in the seventh, four runs in the eighth, and tie the game in the ninth after scoring five. In extra innings, the Indians would win after Jolbert Cabrera hit a single to knock in Kenny Lofton in the largest MLB comeback.
