Youngest Formula 1 World Champion
The youngest Formula 1 world champion is Sebastian Vettel, who won the first of four straight championships for Red Bull in 2010 at 23. Entering the final race of the 2010 season, Vettel was 15 points behind the leader, Fernando Alonso. He would place first in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while Alonso was 7th, giving Sebastian a 256-252 lead to win the championship.
Sebastian debuted as a test driver in 2006 before becoming a full-time driver in 2008 for Toro Rosso. The following year, he joined Red Bull after winning the Italian Grand Prix to become the youngest race winner at the time at 21. The rest is history.
