The youngest AEW World champion is the sixth and current person to hold the belt, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, also known as MJF. To win the title, he defeated Jon Moxley in Newark at the 2022 Full Gear event. MJF was 26 years and 249 days old. This win also made him the heaviest-ever AEW world champion at his billed weight of two hundred and twenty-nine pounds. He was also the shortest world champion so far at 5'11.
