If you search for the greatest artists of all time, you will wind up seeing the name, Vincent van Gogh. Vincent was a Dutch painter who created over 2000 artworks in his lifetime.
Sadly, he was not commercially successful while he was alive. Instead, he dealt with poverty, depression, and other health problems. A few appreciated his art while he was living. As a result, he was considered insane and a failure.
As time passed, more people were introduced to his art and started acknowledging how unique the art was. Today, he is one of the most influential artists in history. His masterpiece, The Starry Night, is shown at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In addition, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam holds the world's most extensive collection of his artwork.
