The tallest winner of the MLS MVP is the 6'1 Tony Meola, who won it for the Kansas City Wizards in 2000. Tony is still the only goaltender to win the award; he had one of the best goaltending seasons ever, shutting out the opposition 16 times. No other goaltender in MLS ever had more shutouts in a season.
