Vince McMahon was the oldest to win a WWE world champion when he beat Triple H on Smackdown on September 16, 1999. Vince was 54 when he won it on the fourth-ever Smackdown, not counting the pilot. Triple H easily won the match until Stone Cold Steve Austin interfered with two stunners to help Vince win the belt.
