Even with a boxing record of 29-4-1 in 1990, Buster Douglas was a massive underdog against Mike Tyson in their upcoming fight. Mike Tyson was undefeated at 37-0; his nickname was "The Baddest Man on the Planet." Buster was a 42 to 1 underdog.
On February 11th, 1990, Douglas shocked the world in one of the greatest upsets in sports history by knocking out Tyson in the 10th round.
