So everyone was shocked when the Hampton Pirates jumped to a four-point lead at halftime. However, the Iowa State Cyclones would fight back and take a 57-48 lead with about 7 minutes left. The Pirates would then hold the Cyclones scoreless over the last 7:01 of the game to go on to win the game 58-57.
