The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles became the second #15 or lower-seeded team to make it to the Sweet Sixteen. They accomplished this by beating #2 seed Ohio State in overtime and #7 seed Florida. The Ohio State Buckeyes were 15.5 points favorites, and the Florida Gators were 8.5 points favorites against Oral Roberts. The Golden Eagles almost made it to the Elite Eight but lost a close game, 70-72, to Arkansas.
