Youngest WNBA MVP

Lauren Jackson is one of the greatest WNBA players; she averaged almost 19 points and eight rebounds over a shortened 12-year career. She won the first of three WNBA MVPs in 2003 after scoring 21.2 points; she became the youngest and the first non-American player to win the award.

    Although previously a two-time All-Star, Lauren Jackson had a break-out season with career highs in scoring, rebounding, assists and field goal percentage, leading her team to an 18-16 record and just missing the playoffs. Jackson led the league in scoring with 21.2 points per game while ranking in the top five in rebounds per game, blocks per game, field goals made and attempted, free throws, and double-doubles.
