The oldest player to win a Grand Slam singles tournament is Ken Rosewall, who won the 1972 Australian Open when he was 37. That was his eighth and last Grand Slam title. In addition, he was still ranked as a top 20 player as late as 1977. Despite his height of 5'7, he became one of the game's best players.
