Delivery driver to NBA player

The Matt Ryan most sports fans think of would be the NFL quarterback, not the guy who went from a DoorDash and UberEats driver to an NBA player. However, this basketball Matt Ryan managed to shoot the game-tying 3-pointer in a game against the New Orleans Pelicans earlier this year, totaling 11 points in the win. Even though Matt is not on the same team, Los Angeles Lakers, that won that game, it is an astonishing feat for him even to make the NBA.
He starred at Iona Prep high school before playing at three different Divison-I colleges: Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, and Chattanooga. His best season was his senior season, where he averaged 15.4 points and 4.9 rebounds. However, he was undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft and did not get a spot in the G League that season. Instead, he worked as a landscaper and delivery driver until the Cleveland Cavaliers gave him a spot on their Summer league team.
Thus began his transcontinental NBA career, where he played for the G League teams of the Cavs, Nuggets, and Celtics before joining the actual Boston Celtics on a two-way contract. He appeared in one game for the Celtics before the season ended. After that, he signed with the Lakers before the 2022 season began. He played in 12 games with the Lakers, his best being the Pelicans mentioned above game before being waived. He is still in the NBA on the Minnesota Timberwolves currently.
