Biggest college basketball upset
Images
In the last 30 college basketball seasons, a 30 or more points underdog team has never won. That was true before December 21, 2022, when Eastern Illinois Panthers beat Iowa Hawkeyes 92-83. Eastern Illinois had a record before the game of 3-9, was on the road, and was a 31.5-point underdog against Iowa, 8-3. Nevertheless, the Panthers kept it close in the first half, only down by eight before outscoring the Hawkeyes by 17 in the second half.
Quotes
